The saddle is a Brooks Swift, just the basic chrome model in antique brown

Athena is a great choice, I went back and forth a lot but am really happy with my decision. I need to get some better photos of the completed bike posted

Lovely build. I have an Exile frame myself and am starting to build. I opted for Athena too but have yet to purchase. Question: which Brooks is that? Looks like a Swallow or Swift?

indeed, that’s what i’m thinking as well. i ordered an american to euro bb adapter as well so i can use something besides one-piece cranks

Having really looked at it again I realize there is no derailleur hanger. Which nearly obligates you to use a Sturmey Archer 2-speed kickback hub.

I think an urban long distance cyclocross ride would be great. There are still a few miles of brick-paved roads in Cincinnati, right?

I’m thinking something inspired by Bilenky Junkyard cross.

So far so good. Took them out and gave them a beating, then tossed them back onto the truing stand and fixed a few things. Holding up well.
